Large images and motion video backgrounds

Keeping words to a minimum and using images to convey a mood or functionality is hard. Allowing the image to dominate the screen real estate, with a positive outcome, is even harder. Dopplr does a great job with it, using Creative Commons licensed photography.
Other sites are using motion video backgrounds in a very good way. Here are two different approaches, equally well executed.
Swedish-German agency Mocoro use video as part of its navigation and content display.

Polish Bee Studio has gone the other way and uses a video bg with very subtle motion.
