Why Kevin Rose’s Twitter directory is already #1

Have you found a Twitter directory you like? No, I hadn’t either until tonight. WeFollow comes to us courtesy of Kevin Rose, and it’s a nice, clean, fast piece of web.
It’s easy enough to get listed: tweet three hashtags of your choosing to @wefollow. Choose wisely, you’ll get organized according to the hashtags you submit. I choose #web #tech and of course #noded. And that’s it, I was listed. No wonder “everyone” is submitting their info; ease of use, Kevin, and a SXSW announcement makes for a great combination.

WeFollow has competition, barely. Other directories have either been cumbersome to use, submitted data hasn’t been listed, or they’ve tried to do too many things. Or they’ve been slow or ugly. Or both. WeFollow is neither. This is why IMHO it is already the #1 Twitter directory. And in another 48 hours or so the numbers will probably prove it.
