Superb suburbia – UX IRL
Posted by Jaan on November 2nd, 2010 | Add your comment
Photographers Josefine Bolander, Johan Stigholt, Mauro Rongione and Anna Larsson spent six years documenting the suburbs of Stockholm for the City Museum.
In addition to the architectural, cultural and historical importance of their work this is also a unique insight in to real life user experiences. Every building – whether industrial or residential – has a function and Bolander, Stigholt & Co have captured the uniqueness of each in a way which effortlessly lends it self to further thinking about their use and the daily interactions people have in them.
A selection of the project’s 55 000 photos are on display until February 27. Admission is, as always, free of charge.
